Introducing VGM 3.16: VOIP Integration, Enhanced Reporting, & Cost Prices

We’re pleased to announce the release of VGM 3.16, bringing one of our most requested features to the platform alongside several improvements. This update focuses on helping your team work faster, gain better visibility, and keep customer information connected across your business systems.

If you would like to learn more, you can watch our latest user group where we discuss these new features.

VOIP integration

VGM now connects to over 200 VOIP providers, allowing customer calls to be automatically logged against the correct customer records in VGM. With this integration enabled, your team can instantly see calls within VGM as they happen without needing to manually update records or track conversations separately.

This creates a much more connected workflow between your phone system and VGM, helping staff maintain accurate customer records while improving visibility across the business.

Cost Prices improvements

You can now attach cost prices to labour and slot types, giving you better visibility into margins and more accurate profitability without relying on external calculations. This is especially useful for garages that outsource parts of their labour or jobs, such as MOTs, as it allows them to track profit more accurately. This could also be used to record a technician’s hourly rate as a cost.

Improved reporting

The new VGM platform now includes all reporting templates previously available in VGM Classic. This means you can continue using the reports your business already relies on while benefiting from the performance and usability improvements of the latest platform.

Whether you’re tracking engineer productivity, sales performance, service activity, or financial data, reporting in VGM is now more complete than ever.
